New album now available for digital download!
I put it off as long as I could but have now conceded: the new King Toad album “Hooray for the Bad Guy!” can now be found on bandcamp. Download away, virtual humans…
12/7/11 Oh I should be more positive about it than that! Heavens to mercy! It only just now occurs to me (thanks to Aprille) that you lovely, beautiful folk to whom I callously referred as “virtual humans” are my BEST friends! Yes the BEST! YOU, warm, living bodies are actually giving MY frothing, capitalistic body the MOST money when you downloads this shit (as compared to other methods of purchasing the LP)! So DO it! DownLOAD this shit, muckahuckas! I LOVE you! BUY things!!!xxoo FReDomisN’t Freee.!!

Do you get less money if I buy it there? It’s more convenient for me to do it that way, but if it requires giving a cut to some squares in suits I will get a hard copy.

That is a good question! So I looked it up (refreshed my memory?). Apparently bandcamping keeps 15% of the sales, $1.20 in this case. On the other hand, there is the cost and child-labor hours of printing & cutting out album covers & putting them in spiffy, soft-plastic, shatter-proof Jewel Cases– so many hours! Oh but wait, I just remembered this second– if you buy a hard copy from me in person I sells it for like, 5 dolla! (No packaging or shipping, dig?). Anyway, if the purpose here it to give me the most money possible, downloading the MP3s actually IS the most profitable for me personally. And I only just now realized that while I was typing this… Yay!
Love
White Jamal!!

I can’t find another “contact” method so I’ll post this here:
I haven’t listened to you guys in years and just dusted off my old albums and remembered how awesome you were. Do you still do shows?

Heya, thanks for the message. Should I have a “contact” link somewhere? I suppose that’s what people do isn’t it? “Contact.” I’ll work on it.
As for live shows, no I haven’t played out lately. I was doing a few solo performances last year but found it unrewarding & more trouble than it was worth. Now I’m back to not playing live at all. Maybe I’ll give it another go at some point.
